Ghouls’ Night Out is an annual family-friendly trick or treat event  held in downtown Winter Haven on October 27 from 6 - 9 p.m. Local businesses and organizations will be handing out thousands of pieces of candy. There will be a children’s costume contest as well as one for our furry friends. Other activities include a rock wall, inflatables, hay ride, DJ, food vendors and more. Bring the entire family of princesses, goblins and superheroes to downtown Winter Haven for a ghoulishly good time! Thank YOU!

A shoe box filled with goodies for a girl or boy - necessities such as toothbrush & tooth paste, wash cloth & soap, comb & brush, socks, slippers, hat & gloves but also some fun things like coloring books, crayons or colored pencils, pens, pencils & note paper, stuffed animals or hard candy. Come visit us at our table on Central Avenue during Ghouls Night Out on October 27th from 6 to 9. Get some free candy just for visiting. Some suggestions for filling a shoe box - Walmart has leftover school supplies on clearance. Stickers, pens, pencils, pencil pouches, little note pads are all 30 cents each. Socks for young men - 10 in a pack for $7.50. Wow! Can put a pair or 2 in a box for only 75 cents each. A regular size AIM toothpaste for 85 cents. Washcloths - 18 in a pack for $4 and Ivory soap 10 pack for less than 40 cents each. If you have any questions, contact me. Please support our Operation Christmas Child project!!! In May there was a request for new stuffed animals or toys. In June we asked for flip flops & socks...Right now is the perfect time to donate school supplies - regular & colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, crayons, paper, tablets, small notebooks, flash cards, etc. Also needed: wash cloths, tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs & hair brushes, hair accessories, small toys, stuffed animals and hard, individually wrapped candy. How do you send joy through a shoebox? Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift filled shoeboxes. Help us to fill shoe boxes full of toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and treats to be sent to children all over the world! It is something that they will remembered forever! Please ask me how you can bring joy to kids all over the world delivered in a simple shoebox ;) During the month of June we are collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste!
