The weekend means no food for many children. Breakfast and lunch at school may be the only source of meals for many children, a hungry student is less likely to learn and more likely to lose hope. Many children lack proper clothing and shoes in Polk County. These are horrible facts, but you and I can do something about it. Please visit this site and support this organization.

Our condolences to the McHugh family, Gerry McHugh, owner of Molly McHugh's Irish Pub in downtown Lakeland passed away. Gerry helped revitalize downtown Lakeland and he will be missed.
